I will Fly you to the Moon and Back!

May 2nd, 2007 by rieaanes

Jetplane I am day dreaming now that somebody is flying me to the moon, perhaps this is just a product of being so tired from my works this morning. My boss sat in from of my desk for almost 2 hours asking me to translate all those over 100 pages “maa adry shino” proposal from one of our clients abroad. Thanks God we’re done now, I wish that I can fly somewhere else or to the moon maybe and forget all those stressful works! Oh, how can I? I don’t have 20 million dollar to realize my dream! lol

Space Toursim is one of the very hot topics nowadays and it seems that many people are very interested to travel on space even the ticket cost $20 million dollar, in fact Russian Space Agency is fully booked until 2009. This means that human beings are so adventurous, they will spend as much as that just for personal pleasure. For me, space tourism maybe will remain just a dream until the day I die. I’ll just make a wish before I sleep that during my deep sleep I will dream of travelling on space and see what the Almighty’s creation. Even I have $20 million right now in front of me, I will not go there, I will spend it in another thing, millions of people in the world cannot eat, don’t have clothes, don’t have shelters, I would rather donate it to them. I am adventurous in nature but travelling on space will remain in my dreams only!

Before I end this post, I want to dedicate this song to all of you there….

She’s taking her time making up the reasons to justify all the hurt inside.

Guess she knows from the smiles and the look in their eyes, everyones got a theory bout the bitter one.

Their saying, “Momma never loved her much and daddy never keeps in touch, that’s why she shies away from human affection”

But somewhere in a private place she packs her bags for outer space and now she’s waiting for the right kinda pilot to come.

And she’ll say to him, Love will fly you to the moon and back if you’ll be…If you’ll be my baby,Got a ticket to a world where we belong,so won’t you be my baby?

She can’t remember a time, when she had felt needed. If love was red then she was color blind.

All her friends they’ve been tried for treason, and crimes that were never defined. She’s saying “Love is like a barren place, and reaching out for human faithis like a journey I just don’t have a map for.”

So baby’s gonna take a dive, and push the shift to overdriveSend a signal that she’s placing all her hops on the stars.

What a pleasant dream… And I will fly you to the moon and back if you’ll be..If you’ll be my baby.

Got a ticket for a world where we belong,so won’t you be my baby?

Because They Mean a Lot to Me…

April 8th, 2007 by rieaanes

Sp_a2274Losing our love ones without seeing them for how many years is really  hard and difficult to accept, the most important things during these times is faith. To believe that that is our fate in life, be it good or bad, all we have to do is to accept it.  I am writing these because these past few weeks ago were really our most  difficult times here in Kuwait.  My  hubby’s beloved father returned to the Grace of Allah few weeks ago, I know it hurted him so much because I also felt it deep within me.  He cried day and night and I cannot control my tears to fall down also every time I saw him crying. I learned to love his father already as my second my father because he is so good to me even I did not see him always.

Then few days ago my maternal granny whom I loved dearly also passed away.  I remember the day during our last vacation when she told me that I will not be able to see her again, I just simply told her that NO, we will be able to see again insha Allah. I love her so much and I felt that she really loves me also, she was very proud of me. She boasted all my achievements to my cousins and she told them that they must have to follow my steps. I cried whenever I remember those things.

Sometimes we only remembered the good things given to us by somebody when they were already gone in our lives. I don’t know why, maybe this is human’s nature. When my father-in-law passed away, I remembered all the good things he said about me and I cried.  When my granny passed away, I remembered how she combed my hair during my childhood days when I slept beside her.

The flower above was taken at the seaside while I was walking,  wondering what to do and thinking about those people who means a lot to me…

Love Got the Highest Rank!

March 28th, 2007 by rieaanes

Pic_0154 This morning, I was checking the site statistics of all the homepages and blogs that I created since few years ago and I found out that my Rieaane in Love pages got the highest rank. I checked also the referrers of my visitors and it showed that they found it through search engines by searching the words like romantic thoughts or anything pertaining to love. Is this means that the most searched topic in internet is love? I hope I inspired all the people in love out there who visited my site.

The Husband Store

February 27th, 2007 by rieaanes

I read this funny story somewhere, I just thought you may find it interesting guys, read on:

A store that sells husbands has just opened in New York City (well did you think anywhere else could open such a store!), where a woman may go to choose a husband. Among the instructions at the entrance is a description of how the store operates. You may visit the store ONLY ONCE!

There are six floors and the attributes of the men increase as the shopper ascends the flights. There is, however, a catch . . .. you may choose any man from a particular floor , or you may choose to go up a floor, but you cannot go back down except to exit the building! So, a woman goes to the Husband Store to find a husband .

On the first floor the sign on the door reads:

Floor 1 - These men have jobs.

The woman reads the sign and says to herself, "Well, that’s better >than my last boyfriend, but I wonder what’s further up?" So up she goes.

The second floor sign reads:

Floor 2 - These men have jobs and loves kids.

The woman remarks to herself, "That’s great, but I wonder what’s >further up?" And up she goes again.

The third floor sign reads:

Floor 3 - These men have jobs, love kids and are extremely good looking.

"Hmmm, better" she says. "But I wonder what’s upstairs?"

The fourth floor sign reads:

Floor 4 - These men have jobs, love kids, are extremely good looking and help with the housework.

"Wow!" exclaims the woman, "very tempting. BUT, there must be more further up!" And again she heads up another flight.

The fifth floor sign reads:

Floor 5 - These men have jobs, love kids, are extremely good looking, help with the housework and have a strong romantic streak.

"Oh, mercy me! But just think… what must be awaiting me further on?" So up to the sixth floor she goes.

The sixth floor sign reads:

Floor 6 - You are visitor 1,781,329,569, to this floor. There are no men on this floor. This floor exists solely as proof that women are IMPOSSIBLE to please. Thank you for shopping at Husband Store and have a nice day!

Hello ladies out there, are we really like that?  I think it’s just not because we are impossible to please but it’s because we are looking for Mr. Right who doesn’t really exist at all.   Some ladies think that it’s better to wait for Mr. Right than to try and ended up with Mr. Oh, All Right.  Well, there’s no Mr. Right in this world, that’s the truth.   I think that two people can be compatible for each other in marriage, but i dont think that there is one single person that is "the right one". What do you think?

The Beauty of Maghrib Time

February 18th, 2007 by rieaanes

I was browsing the files in my camera few minutes ago and I spotted this picture, I cannot recognized the view at the first time I saw it but when I checked the date when did I take it, I discovered that it was taken on the month of November 2005 and I was in Philippines that time, then I remembered that this was the image I captured while we were on our way home from our fishpond one late afternoon, as far as I remember we were in a hurry because it was already time for Maghrib prayer, then when I glanced at the sky that was what I saw, so I immediately took out my camera and take a snap shot of that beautiful sight I saw in the sky. For those of you who are familiar with our place, then this was taken in the road between our home and Pantalan beside the ricefields there.   Very nice sight right? Hmmm…do agree with me, please! LOL :) Beautiful_sky

The question is why did I post it here in my blog? Okay, it’s just because I really like the scence and I want to share it with you too, you might found it beautiful as I did especially for those who love photography out there.  The second and most important reason why I posted it here is I realized the beauty of Maghrib prayer time, how nice to think that while we are praying the sky gives us a very nice view aside from the reward of our prayer that time.  Try to look at the sky or the horizon before or after you will perform the Maghrib prayer and experience the beauty and nice feeling it can give you, you can feel tranquility and easiness in your heart unless you are an insensetive person.  That’s one of its beauty here on earth, so how come in the Hereafter, the beauty beyond imagination of Paradise and everything therein?  Don’t you ever miss to perform Maghrib prayer and of course all the 5 prayers of the day.  Insha  Allah, we will go to Paradise altogether, Aameen.

I Just Wonder Why

February 14th, 2007 by rieaanes

I am looking at my bag (Polo Ralph Lauren) right now and it made me remember the first time I used it while we were shopping with my hubby in one mall here in Kuwait more than 2 years ago, I was looking at the watches in one shop of that mall when 2 arab ladies passed by, they stop and stared at me from head to foot as if they were examining every inch of me, they glanced at my bag always and I pretended not knowing their presence so that I had an enough time to observe their actions and they continued scrutinizing me, I felt it.  After a moment I looked at them with a why-are-you-staring-at-me look and they smiled dryly and went off.

I really wondered why those 2 ladies acted that way,  not only them because I always experienced that kind of incidents from some other arabs also. My friends and relatives also experienced the same sometimes.

I have one aunt here also who shared almost the same story with me, one day she went to the supermarket driving her own car and she was wearing a sunglass, when she parked her car, a teenage arab guy walked near her and he said sarcastically "Filibiniya fi sayyara wa yalbas nathara ba’ad" means "Oh, a Filipina lady has a car and wearing sunglass too!". My aunt was really irritated so she answered to him " Why, what about you? How much your cost? Come, work to me and I’ll pay you money!".

I also read few months ago that while a Philippine actress ( I will not mentioned her name)  was in an Airport, a British woman stared at her cynically from head to foot then she asked the actress which country did she came from and she answered "from Philippines", then the British lady said "Ah, that’s where my maid came from", then the actress proudly answered " Ah, really? And my child’s nanny is a British nurse". The British lady did’t able to say a word.

I Wish to Pray There Before I Die

February 6th, 2007 by rieaanes

Quds_2 The bulletin titled "A Remarkable Story" posted today by one of my Friendster friend named Muslim was the reason why I post this picture here. According to the story in that bulletin when Hadhrat Abdullah bin Mubarak (RA) asked the lady he met : Where are you coming from?, the lady answered: "Glorified be He who carried
His servant by night from the Masjid-e-Aqsa (invioble place of
worship) to the Masjid-e-Haraam" (Far distant place of worship) (Surah17 Aayat1) in which she meant that she had come from Masjid-e-Aqsa. I really long and dream to visit this place and I always watched or read the news pertaining to it.  How I wish that my dream would be realized someday insha Allah. It is one of the 3 sacred and holy  Mosque in Islam.  According to the Sunnah, every prayer to be performed there will be equivalent to 500 prayers, that’s why I always pray to the Almighty that I can visit and pray in this Mosque before I die.

What in the World You Did Today Honey?

January 25th, 2007 by rieaanes
One afternoon a man came home from work to find total mayhem in his house.

His three children were outside, still in their pajamas, playing in the mud with empty food boxes and wrappers strewn all around the front yard. The door of his wife’s car was open, as was the front door to the house.

Proceeding into the entry, he found an even bigger mess. A lamp had been knocked over, and the throw rug was wadded against one wall. In the front room the TV was loudly blaring a cartoon channel, and the family room was strewn with toys and various items of clothing. In the kitchen, dishes filled the sink, breakfast food was spilled on the counter, cat food was spilled on the floor, a broken glass lay under the table, and a small pile of sand was spread by the back door.

He quickly headed up the stairs, stepping over toys and more piles of clothes, looking for his wife. He was worried she may be ill, or that something serious had happened.

He found her lounging in the bedroom, still curled in the bed in her pajamas, reading a novel. She looked up at him, smiled, and asked how his day went.

He looked at her bewildered and asked, "What happened here today?"

She again smiled and answered, "You know every day when you come home from work and ask me what in the world I did today?"

"Yes" was his incredulous reply.

She answered, "Well, today I didn’t do it."

Somewhere Around the World…

January 22nd, 2007 by rieaanes

Desert_1 The following images are some of my collections of views around the world emailed to me from some of my friends or I got it from some of my favorite websites.  I just want to share it to you guys, you may find it lovely as I did.

One of the reasons why I posted it here is to remind everybody that all of these beautiful things and places you see in the world will be nothing when compared to the beauty of Paradise that the Almighty Allah reserved for the Faithfuls.

Golden_maple_leaf_1

So if you think that these places look nice and amazing, then imagine when these lovely things will be multiplied into 70 times and then multiplied again into another 70 times and so on, what do you think? How will it looks like?  It’s beyond imagination! I hope and pray that Allah will grant me and all of us the Paradise Insha Allah. Aameen…
